My friend Angi directed me to a little webcomic called Doki Doki Checkmate. So I gave it a look and found it to be very charming and really loved the storybook fairy tale art approach. I was tasked to do a fan art sketch, so this is what I came up with that I thought was cute and seemed to fit the characters.
Why do I not have one of these? My life would be forever made!
this would solve my straps right in between my boobs thing oh gosh yes please
WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bag with a a strap around the hips and thigh is GORGEOUS!!! ♥_♥The thigh straps not only helps it not slide around, they also make it hard for someone to snatch & run. It’s got my vote.
My mind totally jumped to hunters. They could keep holy water in there or other things, whatever they needed to go and gank the monster they’re currently hunting. Super cool.
Once again, people, if anyone wants stuff, like the above… yes, I can totally do that:
Tried drawing a simple pic of 1920s star Theda Bara as a gift art for my friend Kit who finished her master thesis first draft. Sorry it’s a day past the due date and not as good as I had hoped. I’ll have to try again. Image inspired by her Cleopatra role.

Try to spend the weekend being as cool as these ladies, everybody.

I’m always to nervous to give pics to friends, even when I sketch them with that thought, so they sort of stay hidden in my sketch books. This character here named Kea is from my friend Angi’s online web comic Devil’s Cake. I did the bonnet around Easter and the other during Xmas. I’m trying to be more confident, so these are super late, but hope you like them Angi! :) (Oh and I’m sorry that I always seem to give Kea square glasses when she clearly wears oval ones.)
More Zelda sketches from my staff meeting. Need to move on to something else (like more hand studies) but doing this sort of stuff is fun. Like my cape and cane.
I really should have probably done some more study sketches, but I decided instead to do a Link doodle in my excitement of a new Legend of Zelda game being announced for the 3DS. A Link to the Past is my absolute favorite, so getting another game set in the same environment has me super excited. :)
